Raisin’ Hell, Raisin Bail!

$10-20 donation, no one turned away

Cultural worker and folk artist Francisco Herrera pairs with CNY’s own activist-musician Colleen Kattau in concert to raise money for the Detainment Task Force, a local group focused on immigrant worker rights.

The “Raisin’ Bail, Raisin’ Hell” benefit concert is second in a series
of concerts, and will be held at Plymouth Church, 232 E.
Onondaga St,
April 20, 4:30pm.
The bicultural concert, with much of the music
reflecting its Latino roots, is sponsored by the CNY Worker’s Rights
Center.
A donation of $10-$20 is suggested, but no one will be turned
away due to inability to pay.

Francisco Herrera is a cultural worker who uses music as a tool to
raise consciousness and promote social change.
He has been involved in
community organizing, mental health and pastoral work for over 25
years in California, México and Central America.
